Little Scholars Nursery is located at the Centre for the Child, Family and Society on the campus of Glyndwr University close to Wrexham town centre. Little Scholars has a highly qualified, talented and experienced team of staff, selected for their knowledge, skills, personality and love of children. The spacious and bright childcare rooms are furnished and equipped to a very high standard.

The nursery is truly inclusive and has a bespoke sensory room that provides a wealth of sensory experiences for children with additional needs. Outside we have two wonderful safe and interesting play areas that are used as an extension to our indoor facilities. Activities are planned to ensure that children's development is supported through interesting, exciting and appropriate play activities.

Flexible booking options include mornings, afternoons, short days and full days. Opening hours – 7.30 am to 6.00 pm every weekday except bank holidays and between Christmas and New Year. We also provide Early Entitlement and Childcare Offer to all eligible 3 and 4 year olds.

Little Scholars serves the Wrexham and surrounding areas as well as the University community. The nursery has been accredited to meet the requirements of the Welsh Food Hygiene Awards scheme and complies with the Welsh Assembly Government Guidelines for Nutrition in Childcare Settings. The nutritionally balanced and varied menus have been approved by the Tiny Tums initiative.

Children are encouraged to take ownership of their learning and development through exploring a variety of fun, stimulating, challenging and appropriate activities that draw on first hand experiences. An emphasis is placed on the doing and taking part, rather than the end product, with children encouraged to feel proud of their achievements enabling them to become self-confident, active learners.
